VISUAL BRANDING & LOGO DEVELOPMENT

Building bold identities with purpose and personality

No Plastic, No Problem.

The logo for “No Plastic, No Problem.” was designed to visually communicate the brand’s mission of eliminating harmful plastics from everyday life and replacing them with healthier, natural alternatives. The icon combines simplified organic elements with a prohibition symbol to represent rejecting plastic use, while the soft rounded typography creates an approachable and modern feel. Emphasis was placed on creating a clean, minimal design that reflects sustainability, simplicity, and environmentally conscious living across both food and clothing products.

Peacemakers

The “Peace Makers” logo was designed to reflect the bold and intense nature of the brand while grounding it in biblical symbolism and meaning. Created for gym and streetwear apparel featuring more aggressive artwork, the design combines strong serif typography with a distressed sword illustration to create a powerful and rugged visual identity. The sword represents spiritual warfare rather than physical violence, referencing the “sword of the Spirit” and the call to stand firm in faith through God’s word.

The contrast between the harsh visual style and the message of peace reinforces the deeper meaning behind the brand name, inspired by Matthew 5:9: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” The sword integrated into the composition acts as both a symbolic and structural design element, helping create a memorable logo that communicates strength, conviction, and faith-driven purpose.

Plant With Purpose

The Purpose Journey logo was developed as part of a brand extension for the nonprofit organization Plant With Purpose, created specifically for an interactive board game-style experience designed for small groups, churches, and community gatherings. The design intentionally maintained visual ties to the organization’s existing branding through the use of the recognizable iconography and original color palette, helping preserve brand recognition while introducing a more playful and experience-driven identity. To reflect themes of travel, exploration, and participation throughout the journey, the original icon was redesigned with a stamp-inspired appearance, allowing the branding system to feel immersive and adaptable for future editions and locations within the series.

San Diego Saucery

For San Diego Saucery, I wanted to make sure the brand was very well represented as San Diego and as a Saucery. One of the key aspects that defines San Diego is the sun, specifically it setting over the water. I felt that having the full words San Diego was unnecessary for the scalability of the logo. I incorporated marks that look like sun rays and splashing of a sauce. There were many refinements that needed to happen so that it could be optimized as a logo. I handcrafted the shape of SD so that it looked like the sun shape over the water, and picked a font that balanced and matched the style.

Wild and Wholesome

When it comes to the logo and branding, many different ideas were taken into consideration. I chose to have the word “Wild” be something that is out there so that it is representative of what it describes. “Wholesome” was placed more as a traditional font that’s uppercase to balance the large word, “Wild”. Making the W significantly larger was important so that it would balance out the dog shape. Not having the dot on the i was, also, important to consider because it seemed like a distraction and the nose dot can substitute for it.
